CIPS Supports Our Troops

CIPS supports our troops! CIPS organized a charity contribution to benefit some of our nation’s wounded soldiers, for the second straight year. Based on the soldier’s positive responses to the gift bags in 2010, CIPS decided to once again put together and distribute gift bags. This time, however, our corporate staff passed out the gift bags at the newly established Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
CIPS Supports the Manna Food Center

CIPS organized a charity contribution to the Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where members of our staff dedicated time, effort, and food to those in need. CIPS’ efforts resulted in a food donation that weighed 784 pounds, which is enough to feed over 11 families for a period of 3 – 5 days.
CIPS is Awarded 8(a) STARS II

CIPS has been awarded a prime contract on 8(a) STARS II, a small business set-aside issued through GSA to facilitate a streamlined method for the federal government to procure business with pre-selected highly qualified small businesses. Recipients proved their ability to offer competitive pricing, quality services & products, and overall satisfaction in IT Solutions. CIPS will compete for business in Constellation I, and in all four functional areas - Custom Computer Programming Services, Computer Systems Design, Computer Facilities Management Services, and Other Computer Related Serves.
CIPS Welcome Joint Venture with CIPS Partners, LLC

CIPS successfully forms an 8(a) SBA certified joint venture, CIPS Partners, LLC, which is able to receive 3 contract awards (not including task order level awards) from now through July 2013. Government buyers can receive 8(a), SDVOSB, SDB, and SB credit by contracting with CIPS Partners. CIPS Partners is CMMI Level 3 certified flexible small business solution that offers comprehensive IT services

CIPS, as a member of the Systems Research and Applications Corporation (SRA) team, wins an award at NIH, Center for Information Technology (CIT) to perform Help Desk, Desktop Support, and Knowledge Management support services. Congratulations to SRA and all of the teammates!
CIPS Awarded MOA

As a prime contractor, CIPS was awarded a Master Ordering Agreement (MOA) under the electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks Program better known as eFAST. The eFAST program has been established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to offer an acquisition vehicle to pre-selected preferred small businesses. This allows small businesses to gain long term procurement with the government by providing professional and support services. CIPS is awarded this MOA to provide services in the Computer Systems Support (CSS) and Computer/Information System Development (CSD) functional areas.
