Summer Photo Contest
August 2014
This summer instead of the regular events, CIPS decided to hold a summer photo contest in August. We asked our employees to send us their best photos. The theme was anything employees considered their favorite subjects be it office/teams, vacations, pets, kids, city, flowers, etc). Anything was fine as long as the pictures were suitable for general public/family viewing. The main prizes included dinner for two, movie tickets, and a Starbucks gift card. Our top three winners sent in photos of food and their vacation. Congratulations to Keith Medlen at CIT, NIH as he was announced the 1st place winner of CIPS’ photo contest!
ISO External Audits

Time flies! We can’t believe it has been five years that we have consistently passed our ISO External audits. We are excited that we passed our fifth Audit in May 2014! BSI, a qualified auditor performed CIPS full system audit that covered all aspects of our Quality Management System. The objective of the surveillance assessment was to ensure the our system is demonstrating the ability to support CIPS scope of services and its ISO specified objectives along with the achievement of regulatory, statutory, and contractual requirements.
