The work is performed at designated sites of The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory is a premier research and development center that serves as a specialty site for weapon system integration. This position is being posted in anticipation of a bid award, where CIPS is aiming to meet the IT operational needs of the NSWCDD.


POSITION/TITLE: Senior Systems Programmer (Web)

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Regular/Full Time

POSITION'S HOURS/SHIFT: 40 hours, M-F between the hours of 7AM-5:30 PM

REPORTS TO: Program/Project Manager

CLEARANCE: Secret

LOCATION: Dahlgren, VA

POSITION SUMMARY:
Computer Integration & Programming Solutions Corp. (CIPS), located in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Senior level System Programmer/Web to provide database management support for The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). Senior Systems Engineer (Web developer/programmer) is to provide Web and database development for the Operations Department and other technical departments at NSWCDD, including Microsoft SharePoint support and development in the iNAVSEA web portal.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:     
Design, develop, maintain and support websites and client network system
Provide Web and database development and maintenance  
Develop new user interfaces  
Websites debugging
Prepare test data and analyze program performance during testing
Participate in analysis of information systems problems and the development of solutions to those problems


QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience & Competencies:
Demonstrated knowledge of certain programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS and C+
Six (6) years of related experience in using various programming languages for website and network system development
A knowledgeable individual with appropriate industry experience
Advanced knowledge of multiple technology platforms and environments
Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues


EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software/Information technology/Information Science related discipline is preferred or any other equivalent education and experience

CERTIFICATES & LICENSES REQUIRED:
Any certifications in the related discipline (such as HTML an JavaScript, CSS and C+) is a plus
