RAVI BHUTANI
PRESIDENT OF COMPANY

Company President, Mr. Ravi Bhutani, provides the executive and technical leadership. His technical experience of 20 years is split even between IBM Information Systems Group - as Advisory Programmer Analyst, and with the Federal Government as Senior IT Consultant on NAVSUP, IRS, VA/VBA, Department of State, and USAid Agency contracts. Mr. Bhutani has successfully led and managed multi-cycle contract awards at NRL, NIST/DOC, DEA/DOJ and NIAID/NIH. Mr. Bhutani’s specialization is in design of mission critical and complex enterprise data bases, modeling, data standards, application and system architecture, performance management, service level agreement and capacity planning.

 

At CIPS, Mr. Bhutani has made it his mission to provide quality Information Technology services for a wide range of clients across the federal, and DoD customers covering healthcare and scientific labs, and law enforcement agencies. CIPS approach is “Customer Focused & Results Driven”. CIPS has been recognized by clients as a trusted partner for providing timely, reliable and secure IT solutions. CIPS consultants have won accolades and presented distinctive leading edge computing solutions in areas of high bandwidth cloud technology, large data, and high performance computing (HPC) at the Supercomputing Conference 2009, and 2014. Mr. Bhutani has presented innovative performance management solutions at the Computer Measurement Group (CMG) conferences.

Mr. Bhutani has an MBA in Finance, and understands needs of stable businesses from his experience as Project Officer for a large financial/development banking institution where he helped new businesses to take root and succeed. Before coming to WMA in 1984, he completed the Masters in Computer Engineering Program, and changed his career to Information Technology Services. Mr. Bhutani has been a member of Chamber of Commerce, and of local community organizations including Co-Chair of Annual Academic and Achievement Awards Committee (of High Schools students) for the Association of Indians in America (AIA), Washington Chapter. Mr. Bhutani has lived in the Virginia and Maryland suburbs since 1984, with his wife Kiran Bhutani, Ph. D Math and their two adult sons.
