POSITION/TITLE: Senior Systems Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
Computer Integration & Programming Solutions Corp. (CIPS), located in Bethesda, MD is seeking Senior level Systems Analyst to provide to provide analysis and design for development and implementation of the Department of Navy (DON) programs and/or other Government Programs to include identification of
performance requirements and recommendation for development of new business processes for more effective and efficient information management services at the customer site of NSWCDD.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide analysis, design, development and operations of corporate information system, business applications, and integrating capabilities, and conducts special analyses and studies related to corporate business capabilities
Develop requirements delineation and application designs in the form of logical data models, data interface specifications, on-line query and report specifications for corporate information systems, the Enterprise Data Warehouse, business applications, and technical architecture support, database load specifications, and data validation specifications.
Write and analyze SQL, applying analytical skills in DoD Working Capital Fund (WCF) accounting and methods, and applying strategies for business intelligence and data warehousing.
Perform analysis that results in recommendations for the future direction of technical tools, capabilities, methods and techniques required to provide total lifecycle support for corporate information systems and business applications.
Identify, analyze and improve upon existing business processes within an organization for optimization and improvement to meet new quotas or standards of quality.
Coordinates with the Project Manager to ensure problem, solution, and user satisfaction
Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives
ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriate.
May provide daily supervision and direction to support staff
Manage above areas as business grows by timely assessing business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience & Competencies:
Six (6) years of related experience in working in industry and DoD determining business and technical requirements
Experience in organizational process improvement
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in enterprise architecture the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM’s System Architect
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in the Business related discipline
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES REQUIRED:
Any field related certifications is a plus
