Information Systems Support Services

Scope of Work: CIPS is providing performance based level 2 information systems support services for suite of Sun Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Fedora Core Linux Operating Systems. We are providing services for applications running enterprise email and calendaring services as well as maintaining enterprise security plans with guidelines based on OMB Circular A-130, Security of Federal Automated Information Resources, and NIST Publication 800-18, Guide for Developing Security Plans for IT Technology Systems, and other related and agency specific publications.

Results: CIPS helps prevent system security failures and mitigates risks and vulnerabilities to scientific system users and enterprise network. We secure messaging and operational environments for systems, hardware, communication and applications run on Unix and Linux platforms.
