Scope of Work: Recommended system hardware sizing to support projected transaction traffic volume for production applications. Provided estimates on database sizes and growth rates for applications. Installed modeling software and calibrated baseline model for distributed systems and assessed system CPU, I/O, memory usage, and transaction response times. Monitored and compared actual with projected system and application performance. Wrote scripts to do real time alerts when the resource consumptions start to bottleneck systems. Results : Balanced workloads. Removed system bottlenecks and optimized system for performance during peak demand times. Improved database load times. Kept the downtime low and operational efficiency high.
