Application Maintenance Support
Scope of Work: Provided application maintenance support covering enhancements and problem fixes to Acquisition Management and Budget Information System (AMBIS). Enhanced and debugged MS Visual C++ modules on Windows platform using standard Windows API and functions calls to a MS SQL Server database.
COTS Configuration and Customization Services
For HEAT, a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) helpdesk program, modified and configured the program to suit NIAID custom needs. Used tools that are part of the application to modify tables and screens. Created reports using Crystal Reports. Modified HTML files to alter the appearance of screens. Performed bulk loads of data in SQL Server.
For WebHire, a Commercial recruiting service utilized by client , wrote stored procedures and scripts to collect data from a local database of job applicants, and transformed and exported the data into XML format.
For eCMS, an Electronic Contract Management System based on Active Template Library based application, developed C++ classes to create screens and implement logic and wrote stored procedures to access and manipulate data for SQL Server as its data source.
Results: CIPS staff is streamlining Version control and applying software engineering principles under CMMI, the client supported development methodology. CIPS c omplements the capabilities of the Prime contractor in providing the critical support needed to support extra mural scientific community in a timely fashion. |
